报告摘要：The control of tissue size and shape is a fundamental problem in biology and medicine. We combine 4D imaging (3D + time) and mathematical modelling to help us study tissues. One of our challenges is automated image analysis in 4D, often on curved surfaces, similar to satellite images projected onto Earth's curved surface. In this talk I will discuss existing 2D + time software we have developed to help us analyse our data and the mathematical models we have built to model tissue growth. Our future aims are to develop 4D automated data analysis and modelling software. Possible collaboration opportunities will also be presented and discussed.

报告人简介：毛彦斓博士 本科和博士均毕业于英国剑桥大学，现为伦敦学院大学副教授，博导。主要研究方向：生物力学，细胞生长控制，图像处理，再生医学，数学建模。
